Why donate to OjaiCARES? Has anyone not been affected by cancer? OjaiCARES is the Ojai Valley’s only cancer resource center. We offer all of our services free of charge to the community. Our funding comes from donations, grants, in-kind donations and volunteer support. Start-up donations were generously contributed by: The Kapadia Family, Ojai Digital, Kim and Jim Exon, Eva McKenzie Memorial Fund, Genentech and several very generous anonymous donors.

Contributions to OjaiCARES help patients, their families and friends find the resources and support to cope with the complexities of cancer care. Please join with your community in supporting OjaiCARES through annual donations, monthly contributions, or longer-term commitments. We promise to stretch your dollars as far as they can go. Be assured that your tax deductible dollars stay right here in Ventura County.

Have you ever wished you could offer the right words of encouragement, inspiration or knowledge for someone who really needed them?
Now you can, by sponsoring a book for the Cancer Resource Center library.  Our library is filled with resources to help those affected by cancer… patients, family and friends.

OjaiCARES Cancer Resource Center, 960 E Ojai Avenue is a place where patients, family and caregivers can find information they need to cope with a diagnosis of cancer. The Resource Center offers many different avenues for those seeking information, including books, internet access, counselors, support groups and classes. All the services are provided free of charge to the community.

A donation of $25 will place a book in the library with your name and the option of including a short personal message on the inside cover. Your message may be one of encouragement to those reading the books, or a dedication to someone special to you.
